Big God of War News
As mentioned in the “Big Metal Gear Solid News” post SCEA recently had a meeting for all retailers, first party, and third party members of the industry. While the last post talked about information pertaining to MGS4 and the franchise this post will discuss all things God of War for the PSP. For info on the game and a totally awesome Bundle continue reading this post.
At the event a lot of info was released but the biggest news pertains to the God of War fans only. While Star Wars and Daxter fans got their own Bundles with various goodies, God of War fans got nothing. Well this post changes that. Coming in June expect to see a shiny new Red object on store shelves: A God of War themed PSP-2000. This Bundle includes Superbad [UMD], a copy of Syphon Filter: Combat Ops, and God of War Chains of Olympus. It also includes a limited edition Red PSP Slim with a “silk screen” of kratos on the back. It will retail for US$199.99, just like the two original “limited edition” bundles and it will sell like hot cakes. If you want to guarantee a copy of this awesome pack make sure you pre order as soon as humanly possible.
While this pack comes out in June, the game itself is still scheduled for a March 4, 2008 release. Only a week away!
