Demo Update: echochrome and space invaders extreme
Recently I played to demos available on the Japanese PSP Spot website. While echochorme was already hyped to the extreme Space Invaders Extreme came out of no where. Both are really great although Space Invaders Extreme is a lot more fun!
echochrome
This demo takes you on a journey through modern art. In a Escher-esque world you move the camera angle to guide a vague, yet unique avatar through various puzzles. The puzzle difficulties range from easy to extremely mind boggling! There are four levels each with different goals. The biggest downside is that the game is way too bright, hard, and the music is very repetitive!
Press “X” to speed up time, triangle to stop time, and use the D-Pad to move the camera around.

Space Invaders Extreme
It’s the 30th anniversary of the cult classic, Space Invaders and Taito has brought us this unique spin on the great game. You can build up combos, make chain reactions with special enemies, destroy mini bosses, and pick up special power ups that range from lasers to multi missiles attacks! This game also puts an alternate spin on the art and music style that makes the experience more intense and thrilling! The only downside is that the game doesn’t give you any help what-so-ever!
Use square to shoot your weapon and the D-Pad to move your ship.
